Second Portrait

Indeed, it's Dan, as thoughtful as always on a rainy morning in New Orleans! I swapped a painting on the wall with one of my own—a photo I captured in Barcelona. My sister noted how beautifully lit the kids were and how typically they were engrossed in their phones. It's definitely a future painting subject! I've learned the importance of not rushing the layers to achieve that blur effect. I plan to revisit this piece to finish the rainy background and the blur on the condiments. Dan is just perfect here!
