the Blue Chair Studio was launched...
I was an in-store Visual Display and Merchandising Manager at the GAP where I learned first-hand about image representation and the importance and creativity of branding. I had a great design experience at VITAE Architecture where I was lucky enough to be a learn elements of simple but effect architectural design. Since 2004, I had worked on creating and marketing innovative art projects. I also work closely with my partner in life, Dan McLean, on organizing and implementing his Real Estate Marketing packages. Through these influential experiences, I brought the skills needed to launch the Blue Chair Studio for Branding and Photography.

Why the Blue Chair?
| 'The Thinker's' I created this piece ten years ago and it's what inspired me to eventually leave architecture and pursue a sweating art career! It's a 48" x 48" reverse painting on plexi glass. Now sits well cared for by a new owner. If Rodin's 'Thinker' had a chair this would be it. Blue can denote thought, intelligence or wisdom. Hence belong to the thinker. I took this literally when creating 'The Thinker's' and brought this image in as a logo. Basically replaced a thinking cap with an image of thought and patience. |
